Indexing Check
Checks whether a list of URLs is indexed, and logs the result.
Coming on GitHub 6 NovHow to install (opens in a new tab)
What it does
Publishing a page doesn't mean Google indexed it. This skill checks a list of URLs, such as new articles or backlinks you paid for, through Search Console's URL Inspection, one at a time or in bulk. It logs each result in a sheet, with the reason when a page isn't indexed.
Use it when
- You published new pages and want to know which ones Google has picked up
- You need to confirm that backlinks you built are indexed
- A client asks why a page doesn't show up in Google
What you get
- The indexing status of every URL
- The reason behind each page that isn't indexed
- A sheet you can share or check again next week
